What is Conservancy?

Conservancy refers to the preservation, protection, and management of natural resources and biodiversity, emphasizing sustainable practices, environmental stewardship, and community involvement to ensure the longevity and health of the planet’s ecosystems.

The Dingo Conservancy aims to work with others to see dingoes protect and preserved. This will enable dingoes, via their role as apex predators and ecosystem regulators, to take their part in ensuring the longevity and health of Australia’s ecosystems.

We acknowledge the Yalukit Willam clan of the Boonwurrung language group of the East Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work as well as all other First Nations people across our vast country.
We acknowledge their Elders: past and present, and their long and deep connection to land and water and Country.  We recognise Country as a deeply symbolic and spiritual place with its connections to people and the living environment, not the least among them the Yirrangin (Dingo) who is interwoven in the songlines that connect people to Country
